Night in Firenze

This is a project I undertook for my Photojournalism course at the Lorenzo de Medici School in Florence. The city is typically overflowing with crowds seeking the headline sights of Florence: the Duomo, Uffizi, Accademia, Ponte Vecchio, and Piazza della Signoria. But sheltered within the stillness of the late night hours, these bustling tourist sights exude an entirely different contemplative, peaceful, and sometimes even ominous air. This is an empty Florence.
